While looking at my “marketer only” email folder, I wonder how come people still fall for subject lines with words like “Secret”, “Cracked the code”, “No one else knows”, “Glitch”, “Gap” and other references of regular Joes hitting the jackpot and willing to “share their secret” for a very compelling reason and a fee.

We tend to think that marketers see us -other marketers- as colleagues or fellows. Dead wrong. For other marketers we are customers and internet marketing, home based businesses and income opportunities are market niches too. And very, very profitable, for the same reason lottery is. In many cases, what we buy is hope. The hope that what ever “Secret” we paid for is going to give us a financial breakthrough.

In order to build a business you have to learn, practice, evaluate the results, fine tune and start the process again.
